St Martin de Porres Catholic Primary School has been serving families in Moseley, Birmingham, since the 1960s.

Founded in the tradition of Catholic education, our school has always sought to place Christ at the centre of school life and to provide children with a caring, inclusive and faith-filled education. 

Our school takes its name from St Martin de Porres, whose life of humility, compassion and service to others continues to inspire our community today. His example is reflected in our commitment to kindness, respect, inclusion and care for every member of our school family.

Over the decades, generations of children and families have been part of St Martin's story. While education and the community around us have developed and changed, our commitment to helping every child flourish academically, personally and spiritually has remained at the heart of the school.

Today, St Martin de Porres is a one-form entry Roman Catholic primary school in Oakland Road, Moseley, serving children aged 4 to 11. Our Catholic faith continues to shape our daily life through prayer, worship, the celebration of Mass and opportunities for pupils to put the Gospel into action through service to others. 

We are proud of our history, proud of our diverse and welcoming community and excited about the generations of children who will continue the St Martin de Porres story.
